The daily cost of caring for each child is approximately $4.50 USD. Our financing depends greatly upon private donations. We received support for many years from Les Amis de Philippe, and we continue to benefit from the generosity of friends and relations of Brother Alois Blatz and other contacts in the Missionaries of Africa network.

The project occasionally has also received support for donor committed projects from international governmental and non-governmental organizations. These donors include:

While the CIS earns some revenue from agricultural and animal husbandry projects, this income covers only 10% of total operating costs. While we are always striving toward self-sufficiency, our equal emphasis on pedagogy inevitably reduces our ability to produce so large an amount of marketable goods.
