children program to Arch Diocese in the year 2004 as part of their congregation strategic move and then onwards it was managed by the diocese
The Missionaries of Mary Immaculate (MMI) landed in Tanzania in the year 2005 based on Dar es Salaam Archdiocese cardinal request in 2004.
Only in the year 2005 the street children program and entire institution was handed over to MMI congregation.
At present there are 25 priests and seventeen staff team implement various developmental program in Tanzania and in the Child in the Sun institution. Through their hard work and commitment they are able to move forward in facilitating lasting change among vulnerable children community to realize their dream and to live a dignified life.
